3 Ingredient Oat Bars


  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 5 tbsp peanut butter (We used Mayver's Cacao Peanut butter for an extra chocolatey taste!)
  • dark chocolate chips (optional topping)
  • mixed nuts (optional topping)
  • banana chips (optional topping)


  • Prep Ingredients: Mash the bananas.
  • Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius and grease a small, rectangular baking tray with a small amount of butter or coconut oil.
  • Combine bananas, oats and peanut butter in a bowl and stir until well combined.
  • Spread the oat mixture evenly in the over dish, forming a layer about 1-2 cm thick.
  • Add you choice of toppings to the top of the slice and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 100 degrees celsius and continue cooking for another 10 minutes
  • Divide bars into portions and store in fridge until nice and firm!

Gluten Free adaptable: Use gluten-free oats or Quinoa flakes
