Sandwich Press Easy Brekkie

Ingredients

  • 2 rashers shortcut bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 slices wholemeal bread

Method

  • Preheat the sandwich press. Once hot crack eggs onto the press and leave the lid off for approx 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the eggs and lay the bacon flat on the press. Close the lid and allow it to cook for 2 minutes until crispy.
  • Serve together with a slice of wholemeal bread (this can also be toasted in the press while the rest of the ingredients are cooking)

Combine this with avocado and feta as shown here forĀ an even more delicious option with plenty of good fats!

For a low FODMAP or Gluten-Free alternative simply use gluten-free bread.
