Sandwich Press Ricotta French Toast


  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 eggs (large)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional for a little more sweetness)
  • cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp ricotta
  • fresh fruit of your choice


  • Preheat sandwich press. Lightly beat eggs in a small dish, add a sprinkle of cinnamon, maple syrup & vanilla
  • Dip the slices of bread in the egg mix and place in the press closing lid cooking until golden on both sides (approx 3-5 mins, the crispier the better!)
  • Add ricotta, maple syrup and fresh fruit to serve
