Sandwich Press Skewers


  • 4 premade meat skewers (from your local supermarket or deli)
  • 1 cup greek yoghurt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salad of your choice (to serve)


  • Prep Ingredients: Crush or mince the garlic cloves.
  • Preheat Sandwich Press and line with baking paper.
  • Place skewers on the sandwich press once it reaches its max temperature. Cooking times will vary, but we found approx. 5-8 mins worked best. Turn every 2 mins.
  • In the meantime, combine yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice, oregano and olive oil in a small bowl to make the serving sauce. You can also prepare your choice of salad during this time.
  • Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving with salad and yoghurt sauce.

Lactose-Free adaptation: Use lactose-free Greek yoghurt to still make an amazing dipping sauce.
