Tuna & Pesto Pasta


  • 270g tinned tuna
  • 250g dry pasta
  • 2 broccoli
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 60g basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • salt
  • pepper


  • Fill a medium pot with water and pop on a high heat to boil.
  • While waiting for the water to boil, dice the capsicum and set aside. Dice the broccoli, put in a microwave save container and loosely place the lid on it. Microwave for 3 minutes. Remove the lid and set aside.
  • When the water is boiling, pour the pasta in. Allow to boil for 12-15 minutes, until the pasta is cooked through but not mushy (al dente). Drain the pasta and pour into a large bowl.
  • Drain the tuna and grate the parmesan. Set aside.
  • In the large bowl with the pasta, stir in all of the ingredients! Season with salt & pepper.
  • Divide among four bowls and enjoy!

Gluten free adaptable:
Use gluten free pasta.

Vegetarian adaptable:
Switch tuna for 2 cans of chickpeas, drained.
